This showed up in my PO Box and I have no idea why! Sure, it was addressed to me, but I didn't order anything from Seashell Books.com. I haven't entered any contests. It's a mystery how I ended up with this. If it were a knitting related book, I'd think one of you may have sent it. I felt almost let down when the contents of the parcel were revealed.
Then again, maybe one of you did send it. Maybe you thought I could use a little humor in my life (you'd be right!). If it was you...fess up. In the meantime, I plan to use the handy little "contact us" link to inquire with Seashell.
But, I started wondering...we get so excited when a parcel arrives. Something just for us that isn't the typical mail. But, then, when it's veiled in mystery (like this one), complete mystery...shouldn't it be more exciting instead of a let down!?! I love "puzzles"/"mysteries"/figuring things out. Time to look at Hagar from that angle...the gift of a mystery. (I will hold off until Friday to contact Seashell. IF it did happen to come from a Secret Pal, just let me know and I will cease the search for its origin.)
There are many wonderful mysteries out there just waiting for us to uncover. And then there are things that are a mystery simply because we are left wondering "WHY?". Since it is Wednesday, I'll share one that had me wondering.
According to the MAKE:Blog, 6 crocheters took 3 weeks to create the water tower cover in order to raise awareness for a London based charity's (D&AD), "Pencil Award" by using 32 miles of Lion Brand yarn...full article here. (It's a mystery how my brother keeps finding these odd bits, but I love them!)
Hi,
that was me! Hägar is a favourite of mine and I find him VERY funny and I thought you might need a good laugh!
