3rd Daughter

As much as I love knitting, I have decided that I will never make socks. I hate DPNs! It feels like I'm knitting with a porcupine!!! After knitting all day on my first cabled item and second ever hat, when I got to using the DPNs something went horribly wrong, and I had no idea what I had done, so I couldn't fix it. Now my hat is a big pile of kinky yarn on the floor. So don't worry, you won't ever had any competition with sock making. That's all you.

Happy New Year! I hope it's a lovely one for you and your family.

(p.s. 3rd Daughter - try the magic loop - socks without dpns!)

I love those socks...may have to make Hubby a pair! Did you try putting the socks on? I my first Trekking pair appeared to shrink but when I put them on they were fine! I've found that if I knit them any longer they move around on my foot--which I hate!

Many happy returns to you! Hope 2007 is a great one for you and yours

Hej, it's one of the germans! Yesterday, we've had your present in the mail. Sash called me at work that my box is waiting for me and I was very eager to drive home. Thank you so much for these lovely socks! I love mine! They are so colorfull and cosy.
Have a nice day!
