I managed my gps unit for my guy. He loves it! We are going to go out sledding tomorrow and try it out.

Doogie's picture reminds me of Adam from MythBusters!

We celebrate on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is for staying in PJs and feasting on leftovers and all the sweets. Every year I end up giving a couple of gift cards for fill in gifts. This year I got a good idea from a friend of mine. Cut cardboard a little bit bigger than the gift card. Cut out lots of these. Tape the gift card to one piece of cardboard and seal it in an envelope. Put the other fakes each in an envelope and seal them, then put all the envelopes in a box with a letter opener. When the person opens the box, they have to open the envelopes until they find the one with the gift card. I did this to my neice and brother-in-law. They got a kick out of it.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and the coming year is better and brighter than the one just past.

Oh, I like the pirate hat. Is this the one "cuz" is going to make for her son?

Nicki

Heya! Visiting from sock-a-month 2 (doing the monthly trawl of everyone's socks) and noticed that you too knit the pirate hat for your daughter. I made mine totally as a surprise and was a bit apprehensive - would she like it wouldn't she etc etc but as it happens she loved it. Hope your daughter loved hers just as much. Ohh and how nice in the pink - I wasn't that adventurous :(.
