It's amazing how much faster a person can get better with so many well wishes. Thanks to all of you for your comments. Then too, it never hurts to get pressies in the mail too.
First, my Secret Pal decided that I needed one more gift. Imagine how good it felt to open and find Socks that Rock County Clare in the mail! I'm still not sure where in Scotland she is from but I'm hoping to find out soon. Thanks India!
Next, I received a Pay it Forward from Lavender Sheep. There inside was a skein of her homespun sock yarn called "Don't Touch, It's Mine". Someone beat me to it when she sold some in her Etsy store awhile back. I was thrilled to find this in my mailbox. I enjoyed knitting with it before and can't wait to knit with it again! Lucky me...so many socks to keep my fingers flying! Thank you.
I love the concept of Pay it Forward. In our house it's known as "what goes around, comes around" and we are firm believers in sowing "positives" into the world. I am number 31 on the PIF map and plan to "tag" a few of you in the coming weeks. It'll be fun to watch the map grow.
Today, since my brain was starting to function a bit more normally, I spent some time doing a bit of housekeeping on the blog. I've added the buttons for Knitters Tea Swap 2 and Secret Pal 9. (Actually, Panda made a button for me for SP9...since it runs from Oct-Jan, I thought the button should reflect the changing seasons. I just couldn't bring myself to use the butterfly button on the official site. Hey, this is the northern hemisphere. Thanks again Panda for designing a great SP button!) And in case you need to find a knitalong or swap that's right for you, check out 2006 Knitalongs: (button in my resources section).
Speaking of buttons, there will be a few changes and additions to the sidebars in the coming week as time allows. Plus, the finished projects needs updating. AND, I'd like to get my wish list set up.
In the spirit of all of this housecleaning I leave you with a bit knitting...dishcloth knitting...Mason Dixon dishcloth knitting. These whip up SO fast! Trek even came up with things to tell people who claim they won't use a knitted dishcloth. (Personally, I prefer scrubbies.)
I am glad you like it. Now I just need to get my act together and blog about it too. Maybe that's what I'll post about tomorrow =)

Ha! Those are MY feet in the socks for your pattern! I shall forever be immortalized in your blog, and everyone else gets the pleasure of looking at my beautiful feet...oh, and the socks too.
