Potter Hat
KC wanted a Pirate Hat like her sister in Potter colors but changed her mind.
Pattern: Cast on 120 stitches. Work 2x2 ribbing for 10 rows in burgundy. Knit 1 row, switch to gold and knit 11 rows. Continue until X" from desired overall length.
Begin decreases. Divide sts evenly onto 4 needles (30 each). On each needle, knit k1, k2tog, knit to last 3 stitches, ssk, k1. Continue until 8 sts remain. Cut yarn and leave a 12" tail. Thread tail through remaining sts and weave in tail.
