Frustration
Sorry. No blog tonight. Spent nearly 3 hours on the phone with the mobile phone company trying to find out why $9.99 was deducted from my account today. Only to be told that is was a service provider by the name of Mobile Messenger that had deducted from my account. In order to ensure it wouldn't happen again, I would need to block number 75557 from sending me text messages.
Word of advice, get the number blocked on your phone. They have the ability to automatically draft from cell phones.
The worst part...nearly 3 hours later and the $9.99 is NOT back in my account and I couldn't knit a single stitch. I'm off to find my chair and needles!!!

How on earth can they access money from your account without authorization?

I did a websearch on the number you blocked. You may want to block all of these:
E-Mail: help@sms-helpdesk.com
ShortCode: 76482 – Poly Ringtone Club Subs
ShortCode: 75557 – Mobile Messenger 9.99/Month
ShortCode: 21000 – MobileMessenger Chat
ShortCode: 58560 – Text Alerts Jokes
Web: http://www.mobilemessenger.us
You should also complain to your attorney general. You never know when they'll pick up a class action suit.
