The "Selfish Months"

January and February are what I have named "The Selfish Months".  After the hustle of trying to get projects for others completed before the holidays, I always try to do a few things for myself in January and February.

The first thing that I did was finish MY Jersey Girl.  It is currently blocking in the family room, but before it headed downstairs I managed to capture a quick picture for you to see.   Next up is the Madison Getaway Weekend with the Knit Chicks.  Then, in February, will be the Knitting Olympics and I will be working on St. Moritz for ME.  During the Olympics is the Knitting Retreat sponsored by The Knitting Room in Fond du Lac.  I'll be teaching one class (Via Diagonale) and then have the rest of the weekend to work on my "competition". 

January and February: Knitting and Knitting Getaways.  Ah, something to revitalize my creative soul!  We all need some "selfish" time.
