Jaywalker fever caught

I finished the first of the Jaywalker socks last night. 

I am totally hooked!  The pattern is SO much fun to do.  I started this one on Saturday night and finished on Monday night (plus had a life in between!). 

I also LOVE Tess Supersock Yarn.  It is a machine washable wool yarn that feels more like cotton as it passes through my fingers with it's smooth finish.  I know that I'm supposed to be on a diet, but I'd love to get a couple more skeins.  I think that I should see if it comes in the Van Gogh colorway in honor of our upcoming trip to Amsterdam.

The second sock is started and we'll see if I can get it finished by the weekend. There is one other pair of socks that I'd like to knit before starting St. Moritz.  Tiptoe is a sock I'd like to make for our trip to the tulip fields of Holland and as an example for the upcoming Intarsia class that I'm teaching Feb. 11th.  I'd like to have everything finished BEFORE the start of the Olympics.  TEN days away.  Yikes!!!  Better get knitting.
